In the United States, Bladder Cancer is a very uncommon type of cancer, rarely contracted. Gallbladder Cancer is a disease in which cancerous cells are found in the tissues of the gallbladder.

The gallbladder, is the part of the body that stores bile, a fluid made by the liver, which helps digests fat, however, it is often removed from the body when it causes trouble.

Because this type of cancer cannot be seen by x-rays, so surgery for Gallbladder Cancer is necessary. During surgery, you doctor will make cuts in you gallbladder and other surrounding organs to examine the tissue, and, if it is cancerous, further measures will be taken. The most common is the removal of the Gallbladder itself. This has been proven to be the most effective method.
